21 weeks!

Baby is now the size of a pomegranate! It was getting close to the end of my 21st week, so I decided it was best to take a photo while I could (at the bathroom at work) instead of missing it altogether.

Highlights: Baby still moves a fair amount. I LOVE feeling it!  It's not all the time, but it is always reassuring and fun when I do.

Cravings: Asian food, apples.  I'm still a little picky about what I eat, but it isn't terrible.

Looking forward to: I know we still have a long way to go until February, but I am really excited that we are almost to the point of viability at 24 weeks.  Each milestone feels amazing at this point!

20 weeks!

Baby Reynolds was 20 weeks on Saturday! It's been a pretty crazy week, so I barely got this photo snapped last night (at 20 weeks, 4 days).  Our baby is the size of a banana!

Highlights:  I started feeling baby move at EXACTLY 20 weeks! On Saturday, I started feeling the little flutters (almost felt like little muscle spasms).  By the fourth time that day, I was finally convinced it was the baby!  Since then, I've consistently felt baby move a few times a day. It is such a highlight to my day.

We had our fetal echocardiogram on Monday, but baby decided to not cooperate.  He/she moved around way too much, so we ended up needing to reschedule for four more weeks from now. However, we got some great photos, and it's always fun to see the little one!  The doctor did say that from what they could see, everything looked okay.

Cravings: Food! Nothing in particular has stood out as far as cravings, but it's such a welcome relief to be way less picky about food finally.  I even feel hungry!

Looking forward to: My parents are coming to help us with the nursery this weekend, so I'm super excited to get that room closer to ready.  Now that we are over halfway (I'm 20 weeks, 5 days as I write this), it's really sinking in what all we still need to accomplish.

One of my favorite new photos!

19 weeks!

Baby Reynolds was 19 weeks gestation on Saturday!

Cravings: Still loving anything pumpkin! Our Bible Study group has gotten three consecutive weeks of pumpkin treats.  I hope they aren't getting tired of them! I still have quite a few food aversions, but I've enjoyed food more recently. I'm hoping the morning sickness is officially over!

Looking forward to: Still waiting for baby's first movements.  We found out at our anatomy scan today that the placenta is anterior, so it may take a little longer for me to notice. They thought I should feel it for sure by my next appointment (four weeks), although they thought it would likely be much sooner.

Baby is the size of a mango!

Here are some pictures from our anatomy scan! Baby appears to be very healthy!  I could stare at these pictures all day.

18 Weeks!

Baby Reynolds turned 18 weeks on Saturday!

Cravings: ANYTHING pumpkin! So far, I've enjoyed pumpkin chocolate chip muffins and Kevin's amazing iced pumpkin cookies!

Looking forward to: We have our anatomy scan next Tuesday (September 30th), and I'm so excited to see Baby again!  I haven't had a sonogram since our 12 week NT scan, so I feel like it's been forever!

Recent purchases: We ordered the crib last night!

Baby is now the size of a sweet potato.

17 Weeks!

On Saturday, I was 17 weeks! I look a bit tired in this photo because I was. Kevin took this picture right before I left for my 8am Advisor professional development.

Cravings: Grape soda - I've been trying to limit it since it isn't healthy at all, but I've had it a few times to indulge the craving.

Looking forward to: Feeling the baby move! I may still have a few weeks to go, but that is something I'm very excited to experience!

Baby is the size of an onion!

Las Vegas Trip

The plane tickets are bought! I'm heading to Las Vegas July 25th - 28th (yep, it should be between 110 and 115 degrees Fahrenheit).  I'm going solo to get to visit this little girl for the first time!!

Miss J will be about four months old when I get to see her, and I can't wait! I'm super excited to see my BFF Emily, too!  Kevin and I went to Las Vegas last November and had dinner with Emily and Jose one evening. Emily was super cute with her baby bump!

Birthday Tea Party

Ever since Snowzilla 2013, I have been obsessed with Downton Abbey. I watched all three seasons over one week, and I decided then that I wanted to have a tea party for my birthday.   I looked long and hard for the right invitation:

And, I had a lovely time with six wonderful ladies!
British food: Crumpets,Scones, Tea Sandwiches

We had Prince of Wales and Baroness Gray Tea

All ready for my guests!
