Saturday fun

Last Saturday, Kevin and I ventured to the farmer's market.  We had a lot of fun picking fresh produce!  I made two loaves of zucchini bread, and we used the garlic and onions in a beef saute. 

A couple of Saturdays ago, we felt adventurous and tried a Chinese recipe for General Tso's Chicken.  It turned out great!

A Beautiful Morning

Benton and I enjoyed a gorgeous early morning outside, and Kevin enjoyed sleeping in (which he would also call a gorgeous morning!).  Good coffee, cute pup, great weather - God is good!

Just another day at work...

Typical Wednesday ;)  Today I had a meeting in Hillsboro and Adam and I enjoyed the top down on our rental.  I may have a slight sunburn and seriously tangled hair, but it was a fun change!

Semi-Adventurous Couponing

Ok, I have not gone crazy with coupons, but I was pretty proud of my 23% savings at Dillons yesterday!  Ecoupons through Dillons, choosing what is on sale, and using a few vendor coupons really added up (er, subtracted the bill).  I refuse to buy crazy bulk or spend a ton to get tons of paper coupons, but it is pretty fun when I find coupons for things we actually use. 

Take me out to the ballgame...

This Saturday, Kevin's brother Kyle came to Wichita to umpire baseball games at the WSU field.  We met him there, and we watched a little baseball.

After the game, we went to Red Robin to cool off and catch up.  It was great to see Kyle and hear of all of his exciting happenings!
