Month-iversary

On June 23, Kevin and I celebrated our one-month wedding anniversary. Kevin knew that I was going to make dinner, but I didn't tell him anything other than that. It was fun to set up our wedding china, crystal, and serving pieces for the first time!

I had a blast making some of our favorite recipes: champagne risotto, black cherry chicken, and garden salad. The biggest surprise was the carrot cake I made. By far, Kevin's favorite type of cake is carrot cake, and I emailed his Mom for his favorite recipe. I'm not sure if it is a family secret, but I certainly won't give away any of the ingredients :)

Kevin brought home a beautiful flower bouquet!

We had a wonderful evening, and I am so excited for all of our future anniversaries together!
