Where to begin?

Kevin and I decided to keep everyone up to date and create our own blog. We have been quite busy since May, so the biggest question is, where do we begin?

First, Kevin and I graduated with our Master's Degrees on May 15th. Kevin's degree is in architectural engineering (structural) and my degree is in counseling and student development.

One week and a day after we graduated, Kevin and I said "I Do." We had such a wonderful wedding, and we were so blessed by the family and friends that shared our day with us.

Our first evening as man and wife, we stayed in the bridal suite at Holiday Inn by the campus. The next day, we met with our immediate family for brunch and to open presents! Following dinner at Legends in Kansas City, we stayed at the Radisson near the airport and flew out to Maine the following morning. We had a blast in Maine! It was so relaxing and beautiful. The week seemed to fly by, and soon we were back in Manhattan for our last week before moving to Wichita.

We have now been in Wichita for over a month, and we LOVE it! Our apartment here is really cute, although we have discovered we own too much "stuff" to fit into a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. We are house hunting, and we are so excited to find our first house!

I'm still applying for jobs, and I am hopeful I will find something soon. Being at home so far has allowed me to get a lot done, though. Name changes, insurance changes, and all of the house pre-approval tasks were much easier since I was available to take care of it during business hours. So, even though I wonder if I can keep my sanity being home all day, it really has been a blessing.
